Rising Child Center wants every parent, professional and young person to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

What that means here

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link.
• Text keeps strong contrast on every background. Body text is never placed in low-contrast colors.
• Images that carry meaning have descriptions. Decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms have labels on every field and clear messages when something goes wrong.
• Motion respects your system’s “reduce motion” setting: with it on, nothing moves.
• Pages work on older and smaller phones and do not require fast connections.
